Located on Chart Lane, to the East of Reigate town centre, St Mary’s is the Parish Church of Reigate and includes the town centre within its Parish. We are part of the Church of England (the Anglican Church in England) and have a Bible based ‘open evangelical’ worship tradition, welcoming people from a variety of backgrounds and stages in their ‘journey of faith’.
We have 3 services on a Sunday – the 9am traditional communion from the Book of Common Prayer (typically with a congregation of 50 or so of all ages), our main 10.30am service with lots of families and children’s groups (typically 350 to 400 people in total) and our 6.30pm service (with around 120) with a more contemporary feel. See ‘Services and Events’ for more details.
In addition to our Sunday services we have a host of mid-week activities and members of St Mary’s are involved in serving God in a variety of locations and activities locally and further afield throughout the week. We are committed to playing a full part in the life of our local community around Reigate and have strong links with several schools including our church school, Reigate Parish Church School www.reigate-parish.org.uk
Please take a few minutes to look around our web site, feel free to get in contact with us by phone or email, come along to see us at the Parish Office, or join us at one of our services. We’d love to welcome you in person!
Coming soon! Just10 - Autumn 2010 Just10 is a ten week evangelistic series based on the Ten Commandments, designed to equip churches to communicate the relevance of God’s laws of love in a way which people can relate to today. It has been written by J.John, a well known international speaker, and St Mary's (along with several other Reigate churches) will be following the course in their morning services from September. We'd love you all to come and learn, share and grow with us as we study these amazing truths together. |
